CHARLES GERSHMAN (playwright)’s plays often bridge the absurd and the realistic, capturing extreme situations in the everyday. They have been developed or produced around NYC and around the U.S., and have been finalists or semifinalists for the O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, the Nantucket Short Play Festival, and the New York Avant-Garde Arts Festival. He is a member of The Barrow Group’s Advanced Playwriting Lab and the artistic director of SNOWY OWL, an Off-Off Broadway company. BA: Columbia University. MFA (’18): NYU-Tisch.
KERRY KASTIN (director) came to NYC from Virginia by way of Stockbridge, Massachusetts, and the Berkshire Theatre Festival. At BTF she was an Artist-in-Residence, teaching acting and playwriting in local elementary schools. Since moving to New York, she has worked as a performer, director, and stage manager with companies such as The New York Shakespeare Exchange, Vineyard Arts Project, and Lincoln Center, and trained in improv comedy at Gotham City Improv and Magnet Theater. Kerry is also co-founder and Artistic Director of the Blowout Theatre Company and the Associate Producer for The Truth Podcast.
