Daniel Damiano (American Tranquility, Day of the Dog), a North
Carolina husband, father and hardware store owner embarks on a fishing
trip with a childhood friend during the pandemic, but the events that
ensue will change his life forever.

DANIEL DAMIANO (Playwright/Performer) Daniel is an Award-Winning
Playwright, Actor, Screenwriter, Poet and Novelist based in Brooklyn,
NY. He was last seen onstage in his acclaimed solo play AMERICAN
TRANQUILITY, which he performed at the East Village Playhouse, the PIT
Loft, Downtown Urban Arts Festival (all in NYC) and in the Capital
Fringe Festival in DC. Other recent productions of his plays include
HARMONY PARK (Detroit Repertory Theatre) and THE LEPERS (Ensemble
Studio Theatre One-Act Marathon). His acclaimed play DAY OF THE DOG
is published by Broadway Play Publishing. In 2021, fandango 4 Art
House published his debut novel THE WOMAN IN THE SUN HAT (Seattle Book
Review Recommendation) and his debut poetry book 104 DAYS OF THE
PANDEMIC. His recent play THE WILD BOAR was a recent Finalist for
Dayton Playhouse’s 2022 Futurefest, and was previously a Finalist for
the Woodward/Newman Drama Award and the Janet & Bruce Bunch Award. He
has been a recipient of the Christopher Brian Wolk Award and Finalist
for the Arts & Letters Prize for Drama and the Pushcart Prize for
Poetry. He is Co-Artistic Director of fandango 4 Art House, an
NYC-based theatre/arts company focusing on new work which he

LESLIE KINCAID BURBY (Director)Leslie is a director, dramaturge, and
performer dedicated to developing new theatrical work in the New York
City area. She has received the New York Innovative Theatre
Outstanding Director Award for her Drama Desk nominated production THE
NAVIGATOR by EddieAntar at The Workshop Theater (New York Times Critic
Pick). She also received the New York International Fringe
Festival Overall Excellence Award for her direction of
Sean-Patrick O'Brien's Zamboni. Leslie recently directed a
critically acclaimed production of THE CHEKHOV DREAMS by John
McKinney at the Beckett Theatre. She is a frequent director for the
Dephi, Pied Piper, and UP Theatre companies, and is an
Associate Artistic Director at The Workshop Theater. Over
the course of the pandemic, Leslie has directed a
number of broadcast presentations of new plays, including NEW
CANAAN by Jessica Durdock Moreno (featuring Debra Jo Rupp), and
AMERICAN PORTRAITS by Devon O’Brien (featuring Kate Burton). She
recently directed A BARN PLAY by Lizzie Donahue for UP Theater
Company.
