Bio Primary Artist and Collaborators

Gina Garcia – Writer, producer, and actress playing Alexa. Originally from Colombia, she grew up surrounded by artists in her parents’ circus until the age of 11, and began performing in theater at 13. Originally trained as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher, Gina moved to the United States in 2022 to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She is currently a full-time student at HB Studio in New York City. Passionate about social issues and art. Gina describes herself as a “determined delusional”.

Yohana Parrado – Writer. Born into a middle-class Afro-Colombian family, she worked on community education initiatives during her teenage years to help bridge the gap in access to public education in her country. She earned a degree in Biology from the National University of Colombia. Since 2021, she has been living in Mexico City, where she is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical Sciences. In addition to her work as a neuroscientist, she is deeply passionate about the arts—especially photography and literature—which led her to co-write her first play alongside her childhood friend, Gina García.

Juanita Santafe Sabogal – Director and Movement Director. Juanita is a Colombian-born movement director, choreographer, and fight director based in Brooklyn. She works with Sordelet Inc. and is a company member of Virago Physical Theatre Company. She trained at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá and at HB Studio in New York, and brings over eleven years of professional experience across physical theatre, choreography, and performance to her work.

Wei-Yu Tsai – Stage Manager. Wei-Yu is a Taiwanese actor based in New York. She began her acting training in Taiwan under an HB Studio alumnus before working professionally for several years. In 2025, she moved to New York to continue her training, completing the Summer Intensive at Esper Studio before joining HB Studio in 2026. She is grateful to make her stage management debut with It's NOT the End of the World.

Pao Weber - Production Assistant. Pao is a writer-director, performer, and Pilates instructor based in New York City. Working through their production company X-OUT LLC, they make work that reimagines Eurocentric historical narratives through a queer and nonbinary lens. Their short Caravaggio’s Last Day won awards at the London Vision Film Festival, Seoul International Short Film Festival, Chicago Illumination IFF, Hawaii Film Awards, and Film Revolution; the feature version is in development as a U.S.–Italy co-production. Recent work includes the autobiographical short Red Glove Snow and the play I Will Listen, produced at The Tank in 2026. Pao holds an MFA in Cinema Arts from Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema.

Katherine Baier – playing Katerin. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Katherine moved to New York City shortly after graduating from Nebraska Wesleyan University with her BFA in musical theatre. She also attended the British American Drama Academy’s Midsummer in Oxford summer intensive program during the summer of 2023.

Mason Valles – playing Marcus. Mason is from Colorado. He grew up in a small mountain town and, after graduating from high school, spent his 20s pursuing a variety of experiences. He backpacked and worked in New Zealand for a year, served in the Army National Guard before leaving the service, and attended Colorado Film School to study Acting and Directing. A year ago, as he entered his 30s, he moved to New York to pursue an acting career. He loves nature, skiing, baseball, movies, anime, and theatre, and hopes to build a fulfilling life in New York while pursuing his passions.

Vera Pozoukidou – playing Helen. Vera is a New York–based actor trained at RADA and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, and currently studying at HB Studio in New York. Originally from Greece, she brings a natural, emotionally grounded approach to her work, with a strong focus on character-driven storytelling. Fluent in English and Greek.

Carolina Perez – playing Ana. Carolina is an actor and singer, hailing from Woodland, CA. She’s lived in NYC for 8 years, and is a graduate of Columbia University. Her recent training has incorporated improv at UCB and acting on camera at HB Studio. Previous work includes the sketch comedy show A Sketch of New York and the short film Carnal Inferno.

Matheus Brandão – playing Haze. Born and raised in Brazil, Matheus moved to New York 2021 to kick off his journey in arts and fashion. Multilingual speaker, music oriented and chaotic humor, he keeps crafting his career with focus on theatre and tv/film.

Maria Victoria Eloy – playing Angelica. Maria is an actress, writer, and multilingual performer trained in a range of classical and contemporary techniques, including Meisner, Lucid Body, theater-dance, and physical theater. Her work has been recognized by major Brazilian theater festivals, including awards from FESTU and Tiradentes em Cena. She was also selected for the highly competitive Cesgranrio Professional Acting Workshop, which annually accepts only ten women from a pool of more than 2,000 applicants. She is currently studying at HB Studio in New York.

Ittai Ratz – playing Jeff. Ittai refers to himself as actor & musician with increasing regularity, ever since abandoning his academic research in the fields of plant perception & human temporality. He lives in Manhattan with his three weird cats.
